Community Solutions Podcast

www.commsolutionsmn.com- Education MN is the largest teacher's union in the state. They have taken it upon themselves to speak for all teachers on the issue of race. They have an entire page on their website dedicated to Justice for George Floyd. There are links to "Organizations/Funds to Donate to", "Support for Affected Businesses", "Actions to Take", and Anti-racism Resources". The resources are extremely one-sided, linking to places like the ACLU, Citizens United Against Police Brutality, ISAIAH MN, and Reclaim the Block. They try to motivate teachers to sign petitions and make phone calls on behalf of activist organizations. Their anti-racism resources include lesson plans for kids, Ibram Kindi's blog (author of How to be an Anti-Racist), racist blogs (like Teaching While White), Confronting White Nationalism in Schools Toolkit, and much more! Now how much would you pay? But wait... there's more! The Robbinsdale Federation of Teachers is supporting an uprising on their Home page, and in doing so, displays a quote from the Fidel Castro loving, first-degree murder committing, cop killing, armed robbery and assaulting, FBI Most Wanted Terrorist, fugitive from the law, Assata Shakur (and yes, Andrew, she is tied in with Tupac Shakur). Is this ok with any of you? I ask you to call the Robbinsdale Federation of Teachers at 763-546-5244 and demand answers. It matters who we align ourselves with. People don't quote Hitler, because he's bad. People don't quote Charles Manson, because he's bad. Yet here is RFT displaying this loud and proud. There are good teachers in the system, but the system is rotten to the core. It is time to get your kids out if you can. You just can't take the risk anymore. Have you checked out our Spotify playlist? At the beginning of each episode, Jason quotes some song lyrics that have to do with the subject matter of the podcast. Andrew never knows what they are, but now he can… and so can you! We’ve launched the Spotify playlist: Community Solutions Music From the Podcast!” You can listen to Roundabout from Yes after listing to Episode 30 on Roundabouts… or kick back and enjoy a rocking playlist just for the thrill of it. We add a new song every week. Subscribe and enjoy! Don’t forget that you can also subscribe to our podcast on iTunes, Google Play, and Spotify!
