www.commsolutionsmn.com- Fair and free elections are a bedrock of our constitutional republic. And because of that, there is a contingent of people that must undermine them in order to remake America in their own image. The more confusion they can bring to the process, the more they can manipulate the results. Elections need to have ironclad processes in order to keep fraudulent activities from throwing our peaceful transfer of power into doubt... but that's the point. They try to convince the electorate that national popular vote is a better method of electing a president than the electoral college. They try to sneak people in that are not eligible to vote with tactics such as vouching and same day registration. Ranked Choice Voting, mail-in ballots, and ballot harvesting throw even more chaos into the mix. That brings us to early voting. It is thought that up to 30% of people could vote before election day this year. That may or may not affect federal races a whole lot, but for state races and local races, it matters. People are voting before they have any idea who's running on these down ballot races. There's been little to no literature distributed, no debates, and few doors knocked on. How do you know who to choose? The candidate with the best machinery wins, unfortunately. Early voting is not going away. So what can we do? There must be strict rules. We can't allow for voting to be done haphazardly. We can only be confident in the outcome if there are a set of rules that are never violated. We must protect our electoral system.
