www.commsolutionsmn.com- What if you had to pay a local income tax on top of everything else that is required of you? It's not so far-fetched a question. Counties, cities, and school districts across the nation impose a local income tax. You'd be surprised at the states that do and don't have them. It is not even close to a left-right breakdown. They can be assessed on those that live and work in a given city. They can be charged in addition to property taxes. They could be based on income or on a percentage of state taxes paid. They can be withheld... then again maybe not. There seems to be as many ways to devise these taxes as the human mind can dream up. Listen in and learn what to watch out for. We don't want to ever allow this to take hold in Minnesota.
